More Than 100 Couture Dresses Are on Display During an All-New Exhibit

Dallas Museum of Art will present "Dior: From Paris to the World," an exhibition which surveys more than 70 years of the House of Dior’s legacy and global influence. The DMA is one of only two U.S. venues for this extensive retrospective of the celebrated Haute Couture house.

The exhibition will feature a more than 100 haute couture dresses, as well as accessories, photographs, original sketches, runway videos and other archival material, and trace the history of the iconic haute couture fashion house. "Dior: From Paris to the World" also will profile its founder, Christian Dior, and subsequent artistic directors, including Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons and Maria Grazia Chiuri, who have carried Dior’s vision into the 21st century.

Spanning more than seven decades, this retrospective will offer a new perspective on the fashion house’s legacy following the Paris exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs. The exhibit will be on display through September 1, 2019.

“Dior: From Paris to the World” requires a $20 ticket for adults Tuesday–Thursday and a $25 ticket Friday–Sunday, with discounts for seniors, students, and military. DMA Members and children 11 and under are free. We hope that you stop by the Dallas Museum of Art to indulge in fashion galore!
