Hear history come alive when you participate in the Summer Survivor Speaker Series at Dallas Holocaust Museum. Every Sunday, hear the testimonies of Holocaust survivors, refugees, and Hidden Children, as well as second generation survivors. Max Glauden is from Warsaw, Poland. His family’s apartment overlooked a square that saw early fighting in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. He lost all of his family except for his father, with whom Max was sent to forced labor camps and salt mines. His father did not survive, and Max came to the U.S. in 1947 as an orphan. Hear his story first-hand at this incredible learning opportunity.
Founded in 1984 by a group of Dallas-area Holocaust Survivors, the Dallas Holocaust Museum is dedicated to teaching the history of the Holocaust and advancing human rights to combat prejudice, hatred and indifference. Located in Dallas’ Historic West End, the Museum hosted more than 80,000 visitors in 2018, among them 34,000 school children.
Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear from a Holocaust survivor. The Summer Survivor Speaker Series is included in the cost of the Dallas Holocaust Museum admission. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for seniors, students, military, and visitors with disabilities. Seating is first-come, first-served.
