Support Local Art with Stephanie Shaw’s Exhibit

Stephanie is a Texas native who calls Dallas home. Coming from a family of talented musicians, she found her love for art at an early age curled up underneath the pews in the sanctuary of her father’s church where she would draw during the church service inevitably ending up in trouble. She has continued to develop her skills throughout the years exploring many different mediums which have arrived as an influence of her use of mixed media such as epoxy resin, acrylic, aerosol, encaustic pigment powders, water, and torching.

It was through one of the toughest storms of her life that she rediscovered her love for artistic expression. Her relationship with art is what helped to change the trajectory of her life toward a more beautiful existence. Believing that life itself is a series of constant experimental patterns of development that lead toward individual and collective growth, Stephanie donates 10% of all paintings sold toward outreach programs to stop relationship abuse so that other women experiencing these issues can also learn and grow beyond the grip of their abusers through her efforts.

Her professional portfolio is reflective and inspired by great artist such as Wassily Kandinsky, Andy Warhol, Leroy Neiman, and many more. With a background in science education, she enjoys the playfulness of an experimental design process that uses different techniques, finishes, high chroma palette, texture, and influences of pop-culture, both past and present, to create unique one of a kind art pieces.

Community interaction is an important part of life, which is why Vail Village Club Apartments in Dallas, Texas is urging you to join in the all of the excitement at this event!
